- Possibility of a Second Date Announcement
Shakira has decided to postpone her concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, originally scheduled for June 20, and reschedule it for August 4.
The Colombian singer explained that this decision was made in response to ongoing protests against immigration policies and the mass raids led by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The announcement was made through the official X account of her “Las mujeres ya no lloran” tour, where it was also confirmed that tickets for the original date had completely sold out.
Organizers mentioned that the rescheduling opens the possibility of announcing a second concert date, due to high ticket demand and strong fan support.

This postponement adds to a series of cancellations and adjustments in Shakira’s tour schedule, which has faced several challenges.
On May 31, her show in Washington was canceled due to logistical issues, according to EFE and Infobae.

The event production couldn’t be transported in time from Boston, where another of her concerts scheduled for May 29 was also canceled.
Moreover, the tour had already experienced difficulties months earlier.
Immigration Protests Against ICE Policies

Organizers had rescheduled Shakira’s concert dates initially planned for November and December 2024 in the United States and Canada to 2025, due to high ticket demand and the need to change concert venues.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Shakira expressed her discomfort with U.S. immigration policies.
“Being an immigrant in the U.S. means living in constant fear,” she stated.
The artist also called for unity and collective action.
Message from the Colombian Artist
“We must raise our voices and make it clear that a country can change its immigration policies. But the treatment of all people must always be humane,” Shakira said.
Through her tour, Shakira continues to raise her voice in defense of human rights, especially in regard to migrants in the United States.
