Which Grupo Firme member died?
Before it was confirmed which Grupo Firme member died, many thought it was singer Eduin Caz.
However, the group’s vocalist was one of the first to react to the sad news.
Through his Instagram stories, he dedicated emotional words to his friend: «Thank you for gifting us with the light of your smile.»
Also, some images were shared from the concert they dedicated to ‘Boni’ on the group’s social media.
‘Boni’ was one of Grupo Firme’s roadies
According to Uno.TV, the deceased Grupo Firme member is José Iván Zazueta Chavarín, better known as ‘Boni.’
At 58 years old, it is said that he went for a walk hours before the concert the band was to give in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico.
Upon his return to the hotel, he suffered cardiac arrest, and despite medical efforts, his life could not be saved.
During the show, Eduin Caz couldn’t help but shed some tears as he remembered Boni. May he rest in peace.
