A video shared on Univision’s official Instagram went viral, featuring an interview with Victoria Ruffo, where she discussed her relationship with her ex-husband and father of her son, Eugenio Derbez, as well as her thoughts on his current wife, Alessandra Rosaldo.
The birth of baby Tessa, daughter of José Eduardo Derbez and Paola Dalay, has significantly improved the relationship between Ruffo and Derbez, after years of tension.
In an interview with El Gordo y La Flaca, Ruffo clarified that her comment about celebrating Christmas and New Year’s with both families was meant as a joke.

Regarding Alessandra, Ruffo said, “Well, of course, because she is an intelligent woman. She knows that I respect their marriage and relationship, and that my connection with Eugenio is only as co-parents of José Eduardo.”
She also added, “Of course, Eugenio is the grandfather, so we just have that relationship as José Eduardo’s parents.”
The “Queen of Telenovelas” further noted, “But aside from that, I really like her. She’s a lovely woman who sings beautifully.»
She continued, «And she treats my son very well, and for me, that’s more than enough.”
In response to Ruffo’s comments, Alessandra Rosaldo expressed her appreciation on Instagram, saying: “Aawwww, divine Victoria! Always sending much love to her and her family ♥️♥️♥️.”
