La Huella OVNI: Interview with Ronald Maidana

Ronald Maidana’s Stories

In his studies, Ronald has heard many stories of UFOs in Paraguay, both new and old. He talks about seeing bright things in the sky, different colored lights, and strange things that are hard to explain.

He has talked to soldiers and pilots who have seen UFOs in the sky above the country.

Maidana talks about Captain Augusto Lebrija, a famous soldier who worked with Brazil. He said he saw a bright thing in the sky that broke into three parts on November 26, 1840.

But, later study showed the real date was July 5, 1846. When this happened, the captain was on a boat with 40 men, with two other boats named «18 July» and «23 February.»

What they saw, for 25 minutes, was a bright thing in the sky that moved in a curved line to the north.

This thing left a line of light, and there were three bright parts inside it. Later, Lebrija talked to a Brazilian leader in Asunción. Using math, they figured out that this bright thing was in the air around them.

This story is important because it was told before planes existed. So, it couldn’t have been something like a balloon.

In fact, what Lebrija saw happened before the first time a balloon flew in France.

Other UFO Stories

What’s more, there are old writings that talk about UFOs, like one from 1651 by religious teachers and another in 1726 by Father Juan Patricio Fernández.

People long ago thought these UFOs were signs from God because they couldn’t explain them, and they didn’t have movies or books about aliens.

To end, there are old stories of UFOs in Paraguay from before people could fly.

These stories still don’t have a simple answer.
