Man crushed to death in Phoenix while repairing his car; stolen belongings and vehicle are being investigated.

Authorities have identified the man who died after his vehicle fell on him while he was attempting to repair it.
The victim was Jerónimo García Guerra, 69 years old, who died last Monday, June 17.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of a café in West Phoenix.
It took place around noon in the area of 23rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
Man Crushed to Death Was Found Trapped Under Car

Paramedics found the victim trapped under the car.
Apparently, a hydraulic jack failed while García Guerra was checking a mechanical issue.

The fatal incident is still under investigation by the Phoenix authorities.
Preliminary evidence suggests that no crime was committed.
The victim’s daughter told Univision that homeless individuals stripped Jerónimo García Guerra of his belongings while he was trapped.
The police added that the suspects also stole the car the victim had arrived in.
To date, no arrests have been made.
Authorities continue to investigate to recover the stolen items.
