A group of organizations has filed a legal lawsuit against the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The complaint is due to the task force that Trump created to reform public administration, led by Elon Musk.

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) accuses the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of violating the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA).

According to FACA, such groups must have balanced membership and viewpoints.

The AFGE, which represents 800,000 federal employees, points out serious irregularities in the operation of DOGE.

It alleges that meetings are held in secret, without public notice, and without access to records.

Public Citizen and State Democracy Defenders Fund also joined the federal lawsuit in Washington.

Robert Weissman, from Public Citizen, asserts that the group is plagued by conflicts of interest and extremist opinions.

The lawsuit also notes that DOGE does not meet the required transparency standards.

On Monday, the National Security Counselors filed another similar complaint against the same task force.

The group was led by Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who left the project on Monday.

Vivek Ramaswamy reportedly resigned to focus on a potential gubernatorial candidacy in Ohio.

This confrontation highlights the conflicts of interest and lack of transparency in Trump’s administration.
