Florida man arrested for practicing medicine without a license
The Hispanic Juan Carlos Muñoz Melgar was arrested after committing the unexpected against the health of thousands of his clients.

Juan Carlos Múñoz Melgar introduced himself to the Mexican community through radio ads.
He said he was based in Orlando, Miami and Maryland, and offered alternative treatments.
After an exhaustive police investigation, authorities determined that Muñoz was illegally practicing medicine.
They determined that he was a threat to the elderly in the Hispanic community.
“Mexican people are stupid”

“Mexican people are stupid (…) farmers who pay cash without asking questions,” Muñoz Melgar told investigators.
The undercover work of the Florida Department of Health revealed that he was apparently just trying to make easy money.
To avoid being reported, he aimed his ads at the elderly and illiterate.
«If you tell them their heart is right, they will believe it,» Muñoz Melgar told detectives.
Juan Carlos Múñoz Melgar had more than 5,000 patients

According to his Facebook account, Múñoz Melgar been working in the field of alternative medicine and hypnosis for 25 years, practicing in the United States for 15 years.
Currently he says he has 5,000 patients throughout the country, mainly in Orlando.
Muñoz Melgar says on social media that he was trained in South America, although he never makes it clear at which university.
He lived in Florida and worked at the Dr. SuperLife Alternative Medicine and High Level Hypnosis Clinic.
He was taking advantage of people

The investigation into the health center began in April 2022, but it was only in November of this year when authorities managed to get a warrant to search the clinic.
They arrested Juan Carlos Muñoz Melgar outside his Orange Blossom Trail office.
Muñoz Melgar was booked into the Orange County Jail on charges of practicing medicine without a license and misleading the public about having a medical license.
He posted $7,500 and was released from prison. It is unknown under what conditions.
