These images have generated a wave of comments and reactions on social networks.

The photos, dating back to 2012, show Vance dressed as a woman during his time at Yale Law School.

This has led many to accuse him of hypocrisy, given his current political stance.

The images were initially published on the platform X, formerly Twitter, where they quickly went viral.

In one of them, JD Vance can be seen wearing a blonde wig, a shirt, and a skirt, at what appears to be a Halloween party.

The original post that accompanied the photo stated: «Breaking: I have obtained a photo of JD Vance dressed as a woman while at Yale Law School.»

Mockery quickly ensued from the snapshots, revealing a more «relaxed» side of the Republican politician.

The origin of the photo was revealed shortly after by Travis Whitfill, an adjunct professor at Yale, who claimed to be the source of the image.

In a comment posted on X, Whitfill explained: «Hi Matt, I was the source of the photo (I sent it to you through some friends).»

«It was taken in 2012 (the same time I was at Yale). A classmate took the photo and sent it to me. Thanks for sharing.»

According to Whitfill, the image was obtained from a classmate chat group of JD Vance’s, and was originally uploaded to Facebook.

Days after the publication of the first image, a second photo appeared, also shared on X by the same user.

This new image only fueled the flames of controversy, generating a torrent of comments and memes from social media users.

«For once he actually looks comfortable with himself», «August is really the month that keeps on giving», «He wears more eyeliner than I do», «He’s a hypocrite», were highlighted in comments.

To date, JD Vance has not issued any official comment on the photos, a reason that has prompted netizens to declare him a «hypocrite» due to his «conservative» policy which is far from the photos on social networks.
