A fifth victim of the Key Bridge collapse has been found

Authorities have found the body of a fifth person missing after the collapse of the Key Bridge in Baltimore.
The incident occurred more than a month ago, and all six workers who were killed on the bridge were Latin Americans.
The body of 49-year-old Miguel Ángel Luna González was found on Wednesday inside a submerged truck.
Like the other workers who were killed, he was working repairing the bridge, according to authorities.
How many bodies have been recovered?

With Wednesday’s discovery, so far five bodies have been recovered of the six who went missing after the March 26 accident.
The cargo ship Dalí hit one of the columns of the Francis Scott Key bridge, according to the EFE agency.
The Unified Response Command, made up of members of the local police and the Coast Guard, among others, continues to search for the body of the last victim, José Mynor López.
The weight of this tragedy does not fall solely on the shoulders of those who lost their loved ones, but also on the community as a whole.

The superintendent of the Maryland Department of State Police, Roland Butler, testified about the operations being carried out to recover the last missing person.
«We remain dedicated to the ongoing recovery operations while knowing behind each person lost in this tragedy lies a loving family,» he said in a statement.
The six people killed were construction workers who resided in the United States and were originally from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
As previously noted by the Port of Baltimore, the cargo ship has remained on scene since the day of the incident, but its complete removal is expected before May 10.

After removing the cargo ship, the resumption of important maritime traffic through this bridge is expected, over which an average of 30,000 people pass through daily.
In the middle of last month, the FBI reported that it had opened a criminal investigation. Meanwhile, last week the Baltimore city government sued the company that owns Grace Ocean Private Limited and the administrator Synergy Marine PTE LTD.
Baltimore authorities accuse both companies of putting an «incompetent crew on the ship» and is demanding an unspecified amount in damages.
