A popular influencer tragically passed away after being struck by two vehicles while crossing a highway in New Jersey.
Demaris D. Martinez, 28, lost her life in the early hours of Saturday while attempting to cross Route 17 in Paramus, New Jersey.
Police responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit at around 3:30 a.m.
Martinez was first struck by a car and then by a truck, according to the police report.

The first vehicle, a white Kia, was driven by a 42-year-old man.
She was then hit by a tractor-trailer driven by a 65-year-old man.
Demaris Martinez, a resident of Hillsdale, was a prominent figure on YouTube and Facebook, with nearly 50,000 followers on the latter platform.
In the days leading up to her death, she posted videos of herself dancing on TikTok.
Her content focused on beauty, lifestyle, travel, and her Christian faith.
Recently, she had started making YouTube videos with her son Kameron.

On her Instagram account, Demaris Martinez had revealed that she was a victim of domestic abuse, sharing photos of her body covered in bruises.
In a post from February, she mentioned finding God and studying to become a lawyer.
According to her, her faith helped her overcome various obstacles in her life.
Demaris Martinez was born and raised in Miami, Florida.
Her followers have expressed their grief in the comments section of her social media accounts.
One user wrote: «Demaris. Fly high, beautiful girl.»
Another added: «Rest in peace, Demaris. I will always remember your big smile at church.»
Local authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident that killed the influencer, including the Bergen County Criminal Investigation Bureau.
