Who was Esther Soler?

As reported by Milenio, Esther Soler was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, although she had over 50 years of career in Mexico.

Although she devoted herself more to dance, mainly to tango, she also participated in other areas of the artistic field.

She studied at the Teatro Colón school in Argentina, specializing in folk dance and ballet.

She was a student of maestro Leónidas Massine, director of the dance company La Scala in Milan, Italy.

Precursor of tango in Mexico

According to information from SDP Noticias, Esther Soler was considered the precursor of tango in Mexico, such was her impact in this country.

On the other hand, the bandoneonist Clara Stern dedicated an emotional farewell message to her on her official Instagram account.
