Before learning that she was alive, media outlets — national and international — covered the news of her death, believing Pandey’s Instagram post.
Now, the actress says that it was a campaign to raise awareness about this deadly disease and to encourage women to take care of themselves.
«Unlike some other cancers, Cervical Cancer is entirely preventable,» her statement continues.
«The key lies in the HPV vaccine and early detection tests,» she continued in the Instagram video.
Did she go too far?

«We have the means to ensure no one loses their life to this disease,» Pandey continued.
«Let’s empower one another with critical awareness and ensure every woman is informed about the steps to take.»

Do people want her to be arrested?

«Get a life… Before you put this drama on social media.» «Exploiting a serious problem like cervical cancer for cheap advertising is absolutely shameful.»
