I knew the date of the end of the world

Interpretations drawn from the Bible by the physicist suggest that the specified date would fall in the year 2060.

Furthermore, Newton cautioned of potential «wars and cataclysms» that would precede this event, anticipated to unfold within the next 36 years, according to ‘La Nación’.

In response to this, Snobelen remarked: “For Newton, 2060 AD would signify not an end, but rather a new commencement. It would signify the conclusion of an old epoch and the dawn of a new era.»

He also proposed that Newton likely envisaged the return of Christ and the establishment of a «1,000-year Kingdom of God on Earth.»
