According to Newsweek, Elon Musk made multimillion-dollar donations to political action committees (super PACs) supporting President Donald Trump, in what appears to be an attempt to repair a relationship that publicly soured earlier this year.

In total, Musk transferred $15 million to three organizations backing the Republican Party.

The donations were made before Musk announced his intention to create the “America Party,” a personal initiative that would signal a break from traditional bipartisanship.
