Recently, Mexican actress Kate del Castillo granted a revealing interview to Yordi Rosado for his YouTube channel.

Among other topics, the star of La Reina del Sur revealed the real reason she married actor Aarón Díaz.

First, Kate del Castillo revealed that she felt pressured to marry Aarón Díaz, who is ten years younger.

«He’s a guy who is pure love, pure affection, and all that, but he simply wasn’t for me. I got married under pressure. I never wanted to get married,» she expressed.

Seconds later, the daughter of actor Eric del Castillo s that she did it to please their families.

The Lola, Érase Una Vez star also wanted to have children right away, even though she knew she didn’t.

Before continuing with the interview, Kate del Castillo wanted to make it clear that she was always frank with Aarón Díaz.

She also shared that during her marriage to the actor, from 2009 to 2011, she had a blast.

«I had a lot of fun. (Aarón) is someone who doesn’t bring a lot of baggage, and that’s very cool,» she added.

The actress revealed that she is currently in a relationship another younger man. Although she didn’t want to reveal his name, it is the photographer Edgar Bahena.

They got married in Las Vegas

According to Yahoo, Kate del Castillo and Aarón Díaz got married on August 29, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While he dressed up as singer Elvis Presley, she dressed as Marilyn Monroe.

Days later, they had a religious ceremony at an Episcopal Church in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Unfortunately, they decided to end their marriage in July 2011.
