Karly Navarrete Murdered

Karly Navarrete filed for divorce from her husband, Ever Navarrete, on August 1, 2023, in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Two months later, on September 30, 2023, Ever Navarrete surprised his still-wife, Karly Kimberly Navarrete Díaz, and shot her dead in a brutal act of domestic violence.

Now, even the couple’s own children are asking their father, Ever Navarrete, 55, to surrender to justice after killing their mother, Karly Navarrete Díaz, 48.

The couple, Ever Navarrete and Karly Navarrete, were together for 30 years until the woman decided to close that cycle and start a new life.

Ever Navarrete surprised the woman and fired a gun at her

The crime against Mrs. Karly Navarrete shakes the Hispanic community in the metropolitan area of Houston, Texas, as painful details come to light.

At the time of writing this story, Mr. Ever Navarrete remains a fugitive, believed to be driving his white GMC Sierra truck with Texas license plates PBV-3006.

Mrs. Karly Navarrete, according to civil documents, requested a divorce due to her husband’s constant infidelities and senseless anger outbursts.

Agents from the Homicide Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) are actively searching for Ever Navarrete.

The man’s infidelities «destroyed» the marriage

At 12:00 pm on the last Saturday, September 30, 2023, the emergency number received a call alerting them to a shooting.

Patrol officers responded to 5600 Pine Park Drive in the Pine Village North neighborhood, northeast of the Houston metropolitan area.

Upon arrival, the agents found a Hispanic woman in a warehouse area, already severely injured by at least ten bullets.

HCSO officers requested paramedics to transport the woman, identified as Karly Navarrete, to a hospital in an attempt to save her life.

Authorities need help to stop fugitive murderer

However, upon Karly Navarrete’s arrival at the emergency room of a nearby hospital, doctors could do nothing to help her, and she was declared dead.

Detectives from the HCSO Homicide Division responded to the scene of the brutal shooting, and that’s when they learned the name Ever Navarrete.

In the initial investigations, agents discovered that the victim had been separated from her husband for only four weeks, even though they were not yet divorced.

Relatives of Karly Navarrete revealed that they had helped the woman start a new life away from Ever Navarrete and the abuse that «destroyed» the marriage.

«Keep my mother and my entire family in your prayers»

Before Karly Navarrete was murdered, for her safety, she never informed Ever Navarrete of her new residence, her means of earning a living, or who would be assisting her.

In a manner still unclear, the now-fugitive Ever Navarrete somehow knew where his wife was residing and was allegedly tracking her.

When the woman was in that warehouse area, the man reportedly surprised her and fired all the rounds from his gun at her. At the scene, police recovered 14 shell casings.

Now, the HCSO is asking the community that if anyone knows the whereabouts of Ever Navarrete to contact them at 713.274.9100 or Houston Crime Stoppers at 713.222.8477.

They request support

J0nathan Navarrete, son of Karly Navarrete, has opened an account on a financial support network to seek financial aid for his mother’s funeral.

«I am creating this fundraiser to help my family due to the death of my mother, Karly Kimberly,» wrote the young man, troubled with pain.

According to the boy, his mother «was loved and respected. She is going to be missed by everyone… unfortunately, my mother’s life was cut short,» said J0nathan Navarrete.

«The funds will be used for funeral expenses and any account that needs to be attended to… please keep my mother and my entire family in your prayers.» The account is under the name Funeral Donations for Karly K Navarrete.
