Is the president angry?

In response to criticism, U.S. President Joe Biden, declared on Thursday, February 8, that his memory is fine.
This comes after Hur claimed that the president has memory problems, according to The Associated Press.
However, Biden lost some credibility during a news conference that evening.
He confused the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, with the President of Egypt, Abdelfatah al-Sisi.
Is Biden having memory issues?

«I’m well-meaning and I’m an elderly man and i know what the hell I am doing,» Biden shot back in response to a question from a Fox News reporter about it.
Biden fires back at Robert Hur

Robert Hur wrote in his report that Biden failed to remember the date his son Beau died of cancer.
«How the hell dare he raise that?» a furious Biden declared during a hastily called press conference just after the report became known.
«Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, was it any of their damn business?» he added.
Hur didn’t ask Biden about his son’s death — Biden himself mentioned it during the discussion of how he stored documents at a rented house in Virginia.
Biden forgets the date of his son’s death?

Biden recalled the exact date of Beau’s death, although he hesitated aloud about the year when the conversation switched from one topic to another.
«What month did Beau die?» Biden mused. «Oh, God, May 30th.» A White House attorney interjected, «2015.»
«Was it 2015 he had died?» the president asked, and upon receiving an affirmative answer, he added, «Yes, it was 2015,» according to The Associated Press.
The president’s aides said that the incorrect characterization of the interview he gave during his press conference was a visceral and emotional reaction.
Hur justifies his comments

Robert Hur has justified the decision to include comments about Biden’s memory his report, according to EFE.
Hur explained to the House of Representatives why he did it.
The special counsel added that both «the evidence and the president himself put his memory at the center» of the investigation «it was necessary, accurate, and fair.»
«And more importantly, what I wrote is what I believe the evidence shows, and what I hope the jury would perceive and believe,» he explained.
