- Cazzu Accuses Nodal of Control
- No Permission to Travel With Daughter
- Criticism of Patriarchal Justice System
Cazzu broke her silence about the legal battle she is facing with Christian Nodal, the father of her daughter Inti.
The Argentine singer revealed that, despite her attempts, the Mexican artist refuses to sign a permit allowing her to travel with the little girl during her tours.
She shared her experience during an interview on the podcast Se Regalan Dudas, where she spoke openly about the obstacles she faces as a single mother and working artist in the music industry.

The Conflict Over the Permit
Cazzu explained that her profession requires her to travel constantly and that she needs to do so with her daughter. However, she has not been able to obtain the required legal document.
“I’m a single mom, and the other day I was in mediation… it had been a long time since I felt as bad as I did that day,” she confessed.
The singer recalled that in that meeting were her lawyer, a mediator, and Nodal’s lawyer. There, she requested the permit:
“I said: ‘I need a travel permit so I can take my daughter with me, I work in the same field as him and I need to travel.’ It’s been over a year now, and I still don’t have that permit.”
Christian Nodal’s Position

The mediator tried to propose an alternative to resolve the conflict: a permit valid until the child turned five. But the response from Nodal’s lawyer shocked the Argentine singer.
“If you’re not comfortable granting a permit until the child turns 18, you can grant one until she’s five,” Cazzu explained about the proposal.
She then added that Nodal’s lawyer responded: “Don’t worry, my client is fully aware that whenever he wants, he can revoke that permit.”
For Cazzu, that statement was devastating:
“That man looked me in the eyes, and without saying a word told me: ‘we have f***ing control over you and your daughter.’ And it was one of the worst moments of my life.”

Cazzu recounted that on another occasion, a judge did grant her permission to travel to Mexico with Inti. Yet she still faced an uncomfortable situation at immigration:
“I arrive at the airport with a judge’s permit, and the immigration officer asks me: ‘Why doesn’t the father agree for the child to travel?’ And in that moment, I’m a criminal, you understand? In that moment, ‘La Jefa’ doesn’t exist, Cazzu doesn’t exist, I’m just a number.”
Criticism of the System and Reflection
The artist said that despite her visibility and resources, she felt unprotected.
“It made me realize that I’m still just an ant in front of the monster of misogyny and patriarchy,” she said.
Beyond her own case, she reflected on the women going through similar processes without being able to afford lawyers or trials:
“I have the privilege of knocking on a judge’s door… but all those women and single mothers who for months or years can’t pay for litigation, who can’t afford a lawyer, who don’t receive child support… those are the ones who suffer the most.”
Cazzu’s words highlight not only a personal conflict but also a broader debate about mothers’ rights, access to justice, and the challenges of facing a system that, in her view, continues to favor male power.
Do you think the judicial system favors fathers in cases like this?
